1. Buddhist Quiz Competition
The competition was held on 19th March 2014. 28 students including the committee were involved in the competition. This
competition is to let members have a better understanding about Buddhism.
1. Sketch competition
This competition was held on 9th April 2014 in 2 Austin. The members were divided into 3 groups. Each group was given a
topic to act out.
2. Buddhist camp (State level)
This camp was organised from 28th March till 30th March 2014 by Young Buddhist Association of Negeri Sembilan. 10
members from our society participated in this camp as committee members. The venue for this camp is a temple located in
Jalan Temiang, Seremban.
3. Wesak Festival Parade (State level)
The Wesak Day parade was held on 12th of May 2014. Some of our members took part in this celebration in a temple
located at Jalan Lobak from 6.30pm to 10pm.
4. Wesak Day Celebration (School level)
The Wesak Day celebration was held on 23rd April 2014. This activity was conducted by Mdm. Liaw while all the members
were involved in this activity.
5. Community Service (State level)
On 14th April 2014, Mdm Liaw led 9 members of our society who took part in community service in a Recycling Centre
located at Taman Permai which is in run by Taiwan Buddhist Tzu-Chi Malaysia.
6. 2014 Hand in Hand Secondary School Leadership Camp (National level)
From 29th May till 3rd of June 2014, 10 committee members participated in the Hand in Hand Secondary School
Leadership Camp which was held at Dong Zen Temple in Jenjarom, Selangor. This is to build up the leadership skills in our
committee members so that we can lead our Buddhist society in a better way.
7. Copy The Heart Sutra Competition
This activity was held on 22nd July 2014. This activity involved all the members. This activity was conducted by Mdm. Liaw.
