The SPI Taekwondo Club has been very active throughout the year 2017. The club consists of 35 members.This year, the training was successfully conducted by the State Taekwondo coach and SPI trainer Master Richard Ho.
The activities carried out throughout the year include the state-level grading for all members to promote the junior members to senior levels with a change of belt. Four grading sessions were held throughout the year at the Centre Court, Paroi and Kemayan Taekwondo Centre. The Taekwondo Club members also presented a wood-breaking and Poomse demonstration during our School Sport Day on 19/02/17.
Our Club members also participated in various competitions this year. Congratulations Darven a/l Tamilchelvan and Shasikaran Sargunam who participated in the national and international competitions as follows :
We sincerely hope that more members with potential will join our club in the coming years and continue to bring glory to SPI in years to come.
