The SPI Quartermasters are a group of dedicated and hardworking young men who serve the school selflessly in the organizing of sporting events every year. Under the able guidance of Mr. FadzlyWahib bin A. Rahman and Mr. Abdul Kadir bin MohdOmm, the QMs carried out their duties for the following events this year:-

The SPI Quartermasters are a group of dedicated and hardworking young men who serve the school selflessly in the organizing of sporting events every year. Under the able guidance of Mr. FadzlyWahib bin A. Rahman and Mr. Abdul Kadir bin MohdOmm, the QMs carried out their duties for the following events this year:-
STANDARD TAKING
This event was held for three days. Events held were High Jump, Long Jump, Discus, Shut Putt and also track events. The dedicated young Paulians got the equipment ready for the events and set them up. Besides that, they also assisted the teachers during the event. QMs also took part in all the events and won some.
MS. LUCY MARGARET RATNAM’S RETIREMENT CEREMONY
It was indeed a big day for the whole school as Ms. Lucy, as our school principal for many years, was retiring. Therefore, as a sign of gratitude, we presented her a gift donated by the teacher advisors and all the QMs.
HEATS AND FINAL EVENTS BEFORE THE SPORTS DAY
This event was held for three days after school. The QMs sacrificed their time and gave their full dedication by staying back after school to prepare and arrange the equipment needed for the events. Some QMs made their houses proud and even the Quartermasters Club proud by taking part in the events and winning medals.
SPORTS DAY
Needless to say, it’s the most important event of all in the agenda of the SPI Quartermasters Club. All the QMs came early to school to prepare for the event. We decorated the field with flags and buntings at the side of the tracks. After the march past, QMs quickly set up the stations for the events. We assisted the teachers and distributed water to the officials on duty. Some QMs made the Quartermasters Club proud by winning medals. After the events, the equipment was returned to the store before the prize-giving ceremony.
We hope that we will continue to excel in the coming years to uphold the good name of ST. PAUL’S INSTITUTION, and serve our school diligently.
