Highlights for the year 2014/2015
AUGUST 2014
National Level “Lestari Kembara” Camp 2014
10 scouts from our troop represented the state contingent at the National Level ‘Lestari Kembara” Camp held in Kem Temasya Rimba, Rawang, Selangor from 29th till 31 August 2014. They participated in various activities and received the gold award for excellent achievement.

International JOTA/JOTI 2015
The annual international event Jamboree On The Air/Jamboree On The Internet was held from 17th till 19th October 2014 at the State Scouts Camp, Bukut Putus, Seremban. 8 members from our troop took part in various activities connecting scouts from around the world through the internet and radio amateur.

Perak International Jamboree 2014.
54 scout members and a teacher represented the Negeri Sembilan State Contingent at the Perak International Jamboree (PIJ) 2014 which was held in Lumut, Perak from 24th to 30th November 2014. Members participated in various activities such as Traditional Games, Scuba Diving, Radio Amateur, All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), Flying Fox, Cultural Night and so on. They were also taken on a tour to Pulau Pangkor, Maritime Museum, and Cultural Village. Merit points were awarded for each activity and all members managed to obtain the highest award.

Orientation Programme for Form One/Remove Students 2015.
The orientation programme for new members was held on 16th January 2014 at the school field. The troop committee organized various activities to attract new members. A model campsite was built, an exhibition corner was set up and students tried out rope climbing challenges such as vertical climb, monkey crawl and fireman chair. A blow pipe competition was also held. A total of 70 new members were recruited.

Founders Day/Thinking Day Celebration 2015
On 22nd February 2015, the SPI Scout Troop and SPI Rangers had a combined celebration to commemorate the birth of the scout leader, Lord Robert Stevenson Smith Baden Powell. The day kicked off with a flag raising ceremony. Activities such as station games were held to build stronger ties with the Rangers. The celebration concluded with a cake cutting ceremony led by the school principal, Ms Lucy Ratnam.

King Scout’s Standardization Camp Series 1/2015.
King Scout’s Standardization camp series 1/2015 was held from 10th to 12th March 2015 at Negeri Sembilan Scouts Camp in Bukut Putus, Seremban. Five form five members from SPI took part in this camp to obtain the prestigious award. A total of five King Scouts were produced for the year 2015.

World Health Day 2015
20 scouts from SPI participated as volunteers at the World Health Day Carnival held at Sehat Wellness & Medical Centre in Seremban 2 on 12th and 13th April 2015. This was a community service programme involving various NGO’s in our state. Volunteers from our scouts troop assisted doctors in conducting health screening programmes, health talks, various health booths, aerobic exercise etc.
Sports Day Marching Competition 2015.
A marching competition for uniform units was held during the Annual School Sports Day on 24th April 2015. Our scouts marching team of 33 members emerged as champions for the third consecutive year. The credits goes to all members who worked hard and practised since the beginning of the year.

Annual Scout’s Camp 2015.
The 46th West Seremban Scout Troop’s annual scout camp was held on the 30th, 31st May, 1st and 2nd June 2015 at the school field. A total of 130 members participated in the camp. Activities such as Scarecrow Hunt, Station Games, Commando Training, 6km Hike, Modern and Backwoodsman Cooking, Campfire Night, First Aid and Marching competitions and Iron Man Challenge were held.

Jayadiri Badge Test 2015
The Jayadiri Badge test was held on 16th June 2015 at SMK Panchor, Seremban for form four members. 3 members participated and passed the test with flying colours, They were honoured with the Jayadiri Badge and certificate which is the first badge of the five high badges for King’s Scout.

State Level Independence Day Parade
45 members of the West Seremban Scout Troop SMK St.Paul participated in the Merdeka Day Parade which was held at the Municipal Field Seremban on 31st August 2015. Our troop represented the school in the Boy Scouts Category
