Annual Report
Throughout the term 2011/2012, the committee successfully carried out many activities. The Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday. The activities carried out after the meeting were:

1)Public speaking- July 2011
2)Drama (Inter-group presentation) - August 2011
3)Quiz (on Indian Culture)- January 2012
4)Poetry recital - February 2012
5)Ponggal Celebration: - March 2012
          Activities carried out were:
                  a) Cooking sweet rice (Ponggal)
                  b)“Pot breaking” competition
                  c) Kolam competition
                  d) Talent Quest
                  e)“Thoranam” tying competition
6)Treasure hunt - April 2012
7)Puzzle activity - May 2012
8)“Dhoti” tying activity- June 2012

The committee members hope that the incoming committee would continue the effort in making the Tamil Language Society an active one. The committee extends its thanks to the teacher advisers for their guidance and support.
