The St.Paul’s Institution Prefectorial Board currently comprises 32 senior prefects and 21 junior prefects. The prefects play vital roles by not only helping the school administrators to maintain discipline in the school but also act as role models for other students to emulate. Besides these, they help at all school functions and at the Annual OPA dinner.
The present committee organized the Annual Prefects Dinner which was held on the 11th. of November 2010 at Klana Resort Seremban and the annual camp which was at The Eagle Ranch Resort in Port Dickson from the 14th of March to the 16th of March 2011. The camp aimed to instill discipline as well as develop communication and teamwork to mould leaders.
Activities such as obstacle games, trekking, rope course, station games, talks and workshops on leadership were conducted. Apart from the dinner and camp, the Social Organising Committee organized inter-school activities by inviting prefects from SMK St.Francis, Malacca to visit our school.
The teacher advisers hope that the Prefectorial Board will work on improving the effectiveness of prefects in school and their image as leaders.
